Another question about Vocaloid and Sonar

I’ve ordered Miriam and she’s on her way to my home now <img class=” />
I own Cakewalk Sonar and understand you can’t use Vocaloid as a VSTi plugin. So I’m wondering what the easiest way to get the vocal track into Sonar is?

I’m planning on just importing the WAV file that Vocaloid creates, but how difficult is it to sync up to the MIDI tracks (and does it stay in sync?)

Thanks for any advice,
Lee

Hi

You can use Sonar as a rewire host with Vocaloid as slave. Sonar will keep vocaloid in sync.
Importing wave files that vocaloid creates is no problem as long as the same tempo is used on both software. This is the set up that I use with FL Studio and I have had no problems as yet.

Thanks! I’ll give it a try as soon as Miriam arrives! :D
