Hi

I use FX-teleport to get some extra power running VSTi/VST on a remote PC. Now I will upgrade from 100Mb lan cards to 1Gb lan cards, host and FXT PC, to get better performance. What will happen to my Lola, that is registered with my old lan card? Can I re-register it with the new lan card. I can not host both cards in my Cubase SX PC because there are no more PCI slots.

Cheers
Bob

I think vocaloid will say, “one or more components have expired”. So you will have to activate with your serial number again. In theory it should work fine after that.

Hopefully it is possible to move the lan card to the FXT PC and install Lola there instead. But if not then a user have to buy a new vocaloid everytime
she/he buys a new pc? Does the vocaloid Vsti work okay now?

I guess there will not be many 100mb lan cards used in a couple of years.

Thanx, that would be really great and save me a lot of extra trouble. :)

You shouldnt have to buy the same product again, that would be very unfair. Remember you have already bought a ‘license’ to use it. So if you run out of activations (I think you get 2 or 3), then contact Zero-G. As long as you are a registered user and your request is legitimate, they will probably just give you a new serial number.

Hi again.

Well I have not upgraded my old DAW with a new Lan card yet.
Because I bought a new DAW instead. :)

3.2GHz, 2Gb ram, 200 + 160Gb hard discs, Giga Lan card etc etc

How will I proceed to install Lola on the new DAW?

Do I just register a new license with Zero-G?

I will get the new DAW tomorrow, hopefully I can sleep tonight. ;)

It depends how many times you have previously activated vocaloid. Try installing it, and then activate it. If you have previously only activated on your old PC it should activate on your new one fine.

If it doesnt work, its probably because you have run out of activations. In that case contact Zero-G tech support (you need to be a registered user), Include your name and serial number and explain the situation and they will probably double check your serial number status and either make it work or give you a new serial number.

Let us know what happens :D

Hi

I had only activated it once before, so there was so problems with the licence now. :)

Wow, with my new DAW 3.2GHz the same vocaloid processing that took ages in the old DAW with the old vocaloid release, now takes less than 5 seconds. :)

Could even add 4 extra harmonies.

Looks really promising.
