Is it possible to move the Miriam database to a drive other than C? My C drive is pretty full.

I’ve moved it to another drive (F) and created a shortcut from F to C but it wouldn’t work.

Any help is appreciated.

The only way to do this is via the registry, however I do not encourage it, especially to those who aren’t used to editing registry entries. What is required is that you change the dir entry in the reg key:

My ComputerHKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREVOCALOIDDATABASEVOICE

The key called VOICEDIR is what needs to be edited in the window. Just right click on VOICEDIR, select modify, change it to the dir you put the voice dir location on the other drive. I claim no responsibility for anything that breaks though :)

Even though I know it’s a bit late on the reply I hope it helps anyone else that wants to host the big voice files under a different drive which is what I also had to do since I was running out of diskspace on my primary drive.

Good luck!

PS – sorry if this has been answered elsewhere.
