Any chance anyone have a link to or a list of phonemes for the Japanese Vocaloid (specifically, Hatsune Miku)? I’m quite lost because I just got my copy and I’m new to this~ ><

I just got my copy too, so I could also use one. The one in the HELP section is pretty useless.

So whichever one of us finds it first, we should rush to post it here. And if somebody else finds it, try to beat us to it and earn your 15 silver points.

i just got mine also^^.
I was testing out and i see that it has a problem reading english i think…

ok when you type in a lyric you should see something like [ aa].
In the braces is how miku will pronounce your lyric.
I tried typing in hello for a test. For miku, you have to break hello apart like
He and ro.(lo doesnt work).
another example:
Watashi wa Hatsune Miku.
Wa-Ta-shi(pronounced ‘si’) wa Ha-su-ne Mi-Ku.
Its a very long process T-T

Yes, just as you say you type one syllable of romaji per letter. Its a long process but the romaji is very accurate and the result is worth the effort. ^^… Eventually. :D

You should change her voice parameters to suit the song you want her to sing ( Its usually slightly different fopr each song) Then you should change the actual parameters in vocaloid, to make her sound less robotic and more natural. I usually put all the words in first then change the dynamics etc.

Why do you think Madonna cant keep her clothes on? At the tender age of 50, does anyone else out there think Madonna should keep her clothes on, and therefore some dignity. I know that for fifty she looks good, but lets face it, no one wants to see a fifty year old mother prancing about in a music video wearing pants! I mean, imagine that was your mum!
