Sitting around in the gloomy light from my paraffin lamp – peddling like crazy to keep the computer’s generator going – looking forward only to keeping the fire going by burning all the impending junkmail from Zero-G that will come through the mailbox – wondering whether I’m actually dead as I listen to the latest downloads. Have I somehow been booked into the Hotel California where David Lynch and his Vocaloid Orchestra are the resident band? I’ll be checking your names and ages against the Official Survey to make sure you’re not one of these young vocaloid brats who’s muscling into this Grumpy Old Men Only Section, by the way, so clear off young-shaver-me-lads and cause your own trouble elsewhere….. Humph!

Ha… Ha….. Ha……..

Now the world could do with more anecdotes like this.
Whatever happens to you in life, don’t ever lose that sense of humour.

Well I turn my back for a day or two and return to a veritable mountain of uploads to listen to. I see Gray has been busy again <img class=” />

Along with the vocalizing, I have also written 5 or 6 new songs. None with vocals though except the one I posted here recently. Music is food for the soul and mine is overweight.

 Hardly starving us to death here are you….. I’m assembling a crack team of utter bastards to post cover versions of ALL YOUR songs (except Happy Birthday of course) directly back to your personal website – see how you like it coming back to ya, buster. HA! You won’t be laughing in a year’s time when it’s complete……

 What are you smirkin’ about, numb nuts! I’ll lose more than my freakin’ sense of humour if I ever come onto this forum to find your “Ode To Fuckin’ Vocaloid” or whatever you and “Dear Bob” call that track you just posted playing back automatically just ‘cos Joe’s skint and sold out to commercial interests who thought it was a good promo piece. Every penny you make from airplays will be another penny snatched from the hands of us vocaloid pensioners that fought in the War for the likes of you, sonny.l

Yes. I just heard about Ray Charles. He was a magnificent singer. Not the greatest voice or range but his soul and heart were the strength in his vocals.

Hey, old fu*kers! Wake up! Want an official cheer up call? We may be old, but I’d rather death’s sweet release than suffer this fate. Sent to me by those bast*ards at Sound Control at no additional charge or unseemly fee – is this YOUR future? I’d rather tear my own head off…… Check it out one time,yo:

Dude he was imho not just a singer but a pianist who had (& has) a huge influence on music. I put him right up there with the greatest pianists (of NE style). Gr8 feel. So who’s next… Ozzy?

Here’s a funny Ozzy story (true). a bass player I know (no names, but the Cristian bit may be Bob, and his second name is Daisy, but with an “L” between the “s” & “y”) wrote a shedload of songs with the Oz which were released on his solo albums without credits. Oz took da publishing. My friend went to da lawyers and got every penny owed. He’s now far 2 rich 2 talk 2 the likez of me!

Interesting. A long time ago….. I did some work for Ozzy Osbourne and all I ended up with was the pen that the contract was signed with. I could freakin’ spit. He’s a right hard bast*rd, that one.
