Vocaloid 1 Editor Questions After 2 Weeks of Learning

Hi Everyone
I have some questions about the Vocaloid 1 Editor, after the download update.

1. After you use Select All on a track, can you pitch shift the entire track by dragging it? I wanted to drop an entire track by an octave.

2. Can you import a different midi file into each track?

3. I tried to select a group of notes to copy. Was not sure how to do it.

4. How many Expression Icons can one track have?

5. How many different Control Track parameters can one melody have?

6. If I wanted to Select All and make all the notes in a track, longer or shorter, can you do that by changing the grid note resolution?

Looking things up in the printed manual, the help file, and the editor update pdf. Not experienced enough yet to know which docs have which information in them.

I made a Vocaloid Binder to put editing tips and other Vocaloid information in. Lyric notes on any words I want to edit. And just the steps in which I did editor things, etc.

Hi Everyone,
I finished inputting the words to my first Vocaloid song. Miriam knew every word but one. So only one word to do manually and add to My User Dictionary.

In the bridge of my song, the Vocaloid Editor, auto split 3 words into 2 syllables with a hyphen and instead of singing the word on one note, the auto split put the first half of the word on one note and the second half of the word on another note.

The Vocaloid sang the word ok, but no real singer would split the 3 words where the editor split them, so how do I remove or edit the auto split. I tried putting in a hyphen manually where a real singer might split the word, but the editor would not let me do it.

1. Can the auto split be turned off, so the editor does not force you to have a different note for each syllable?

2. Can you manually move or change how big a break the split is between syllables?

3. Can making the first note length longer remove the split?

4. Or do you have to do a full sound and word edit manually on any word the auto editor splits across notes, when the song has the complete word sung on just one note?

Thanks
Happy Vocaloid Singing
