I think I read that the Zero-G website has put the update towards the end of June? Probably best to look on there now and again for any signs of a firm announcement.

I don’t see that anywhere on the zero g site

Last I heard it was due some weeks ago, maybe sooner.

Topaz – Sorry I was being a little lazy – just got back from looking on the website and it actually says “mid June”in a little paragraph titled “Availability”. Here’s the link : http://www.zero-g.co.uk/index……icleid=805

The latest word from the development team at Yamaha is that the Vocaloid software update (for LEON and LOLA users) will be available at http://www.vocaloid.com by the end of this week, possibly tomorrow but more likely Friday or Saturday. That is the latest information at Zero-G, which we heard this morning.

Thanks, Ed! We’ll all be looking out for the update this weekend no doubt. I must have got my wires crossed a little as earlier I recall it was said that the Leon/Lola update was to come shortly after the Miriam release i.e derived from the improvements made in Miriam’s editor. Whatever….. pretty soon is pretty good :D

Hi :)

Thanks for letting us know.

The improvements are good. However with regards wih the play with synthesis is still dodgy to work with. especially if you go past 5 channels, you get an error message to say that it will only work with up to 5 tracks.
Otherwise it is much better.

thanks

Robert :D

Hi <img class=” />

er….. I could be doing something very wrong here. But everything has gone pearshaped. :?

The update has upset the rewire setup in FLStudio. The sound from Vocaloid is distorted. FLStudio locks up halfway through sequence.

And I still can’t get Vst to work.

So much for better update!……… Any ideas anyone?……….ED!….Joe!……God!……..

Robert

Just heard my name being called in vain… I haven’t done the upgrade yet, but will try to check out the problems you’re reporting after the weekend if noone else has got back to you before then. All I can say at the moment is don’t panic – just breath in deeply…… and relaaaaaax. Try un-intalling it completely, re-installing it from scratch again and then re-booting so the system gets the fullest chance of recognising it properly?

Well, I just ran the update and it pooched my installation (I had tons of problems getting the original install to work). Now I now longer have a working Vocaloid of any version. Can nothing be done to fix the faulty installations for this product?

Hi:(

I know how you feel. Having tried everything like reinstalling both Vocaloid and FLStudio and rerunning the update, it does not change anything. I still get distortion from Vocaloid with rewire. both programs work fine on their own, until Rewire is applied. then it all goes pearshape.
FLStudio stops responding and I can’t get out of the program.

My only solution is to revert back to ver 1.02 for now, or until this can be sorted.

Thanks

Robert :(

Drummer, thats worrying, I suggest you contact the Zero-G Vocaloid Tech support, thats what they are there for.

So what is the exact problem? does it give you any error messages?

I just Finnished a song using the update. It worked great for me. Much faster and smoother to use. I don’t use the rewire function so I can’t help you there.

Hi

I totally agree with you, overall, the update is that much better. It is just the rewire/Vst part that is not too clever. unless there is something that I am not doing right. I just can’t get my head roud this!…….

Robert
