So many views and no posts, come on people don’t be shy!

There’s no way of knowing when Vocaloid will meet our expectations is there? I can only hope that each version brings significant improvements.

My big hope is that a software company takes the reins with Vocaloid. Zero-G are only developing the vocal fonts not the software, so they could not possibly support it the same way that a software company could. The greatest [i:3q0kl1z3]shame[/i:3q0kl1z3] of all (in every sense of the word!!!) is that we have not heard one single word from the Yamaha software people, this to me is unbelievable and if they don’t show up on the Vocaloid scene soon, it will be Vocaloid’s un-doing. End-users need to be able to reach the software developers. It really is no good Zero-G constantly telling us that they’ve passed on our questions and comments. It’s not Zero-G’s fault, for sure, but this is not the way to launch a new software. I hope Yamaha will prove me right one day and join us in these forums, they are very welcome. From what I’ve read on the internet, there are numerous others developing the software at a university in Spain .. where are they? They read and write English right? Come and join us, we want to help you develop Vocaloid into something great! can’t believe that the people in Spain are not interested in coming here and talking about Vocaloid. What’s up with that?

Hey Q, I just thought about the struggles I’m constantly having with the “s” sounds coming out as “th” (the vocaloid lisp). Maybe this was a feature developed from the Spanish (e.g. Barthelona – not Barcelona). :D

Could be robot-man. What’s “C” in Japanese? That might be your solution right there.

Actually I’m now told that the Vocaloid research was done in Spain, but it is actually developed at Yamaha.
