When I first head this demo (if I may re-post)

http://project-x.holodeck.info/pmwiki/u … /cd_02.mp3

I thought ok, Sade does sound like a crappy Vocaloid. They used too much Auto-tune on her voice. (Grented I was listening on a PC Speaker at work..)
I got home and took a casual listen…
I can’t believe they released a Sade tune with this many atrifacts in the voisce!! What is the world coming too.. (At home i use a 61″ HD for my monitor so the speaker resolution is not purrrfect.)

Only at the studio did i play it and realize…. Hey… This ain’t Sade!!!?!?!

Yeah, you fooled me, Is this a plus for vocaloid, or a BIG minus for me a a producer/engineer… GREAT JOB..
I’m jealous. (I could do better thatn you if I wrote a song that was MADE to use vocaoid.) :D :D :D

This (IMHO) is the most intelligible and passable track yet to be heard. It should be in the user demos (up to you).

This has established new interest in me. I might try a production geared tword the lower raneg of LOLA. I just don’t have a performer that sinsg in that range at the moment.
Bottom line,
Keep Up The Good Work.

Will Mack.

The pronunciation on the first part “Sometimes I feel like I’m drowning” is excellent. After that, the words are too close together and Vocaloid can’t handle it somehow.

Seems like the Lola accent is best fitted for african english songs. :P

hehe, thanks for the flowers, guys. I admit, that these all were just mere tests with my software setup here and how to do the phonemes to get the appropriate effects i was looking for. At the moment, my main problem isnt so much the composition, but the LYRICS, i need LYRICS. I’m not a poet or something :D

Until i can come up with SOME sort of sensible text, the cd_02 ist kindof frozen.

Well, time comes, i find a text, i finish that track. :D
