i cannot seem to get vacaloid to actually do any thing rather errors or lock ups. If i use rewire it tries to play zapps heaps of memory away and locks up. If i use the creative Audiogy output i get errors like below.
I have downloaded some midis from the site to try it out.
Invalid note Data .Track 1: Voice 1.
PianoRoll : Empty Sequence or Pianoroll : Found event in premeasure zone.
also i note in the vocaloid ini file where in says sound output.
it should say Device but it says Deveice .
this seems wierd to say the least.
Would appreciate any help please.

I only got rewire to work one time on my sytem. Now I find it easier to make a wave from vocaloid and play it from my studio along with the midi. If you don’t have a studio, Quartz studio is a fair freebie. Ntrackstudio is 45 bucks and has a few more features. Many others available.

The invalid notes could be either notes in the first 2 or 3 bars (grey in colour) which are pre-measures where vocaloid does not play. Or could be notes which overlap. Vocaloid is monophonic on any one voice and cannot sing two notes at once. (set up a second voice to get harmonies)

Its probably worth contacting tech support (must register you serial number on zero-g site first).

what rewire host are you using vocaloid with? (eg cubase?) ….There are still some issues with some rewire hosts….

As Andromeda said it may be that you have notes in the pre-measure region of the screen… goto ‘settings’ – ‘premeasure’ and set it to 1. That might help.

If you have overlapping notes, you can correct that by clicking ‘job’ – ‘Normalise object’. That might help.

The spelling mistake in the .ini file is ok. just ignore that. Have you downloaded the latest update for vocaloid (from vocaloid.com)?

Let us know what happens.

I cannot get any vocaloid to work in either VST or rewire either.
