OfflineHi All,
I just downloaded and installed Leon this afternoon. Lola and Leon sound pretty good singing in harmony and as a pair of male and female backing singers.
Their voice range is wider than what a live human singer could do. And as far as what kinds of vocabulary backing singers need. They should be able to cover it without hardly and sound editing as far as Top 40 music goes.
Both Leon and Lola have their own Vibrato and Attack Icons, one advantage, the expression icons of Vocaloid 1 that make it easy for use by Vocaloid beginners and causal users.
I already had the Vocaloid 1 update installed for Miriam. These new on sale versions of Leon and Lola for the rest of Febuary, come with the update files in the Vocaloid download.
One can pick up download Leon for 68 bucks. Then use the discount coupon for 25 bucks you get via email to pick up download Lola for only 43 bucks or a grand total of 111 bucks, not bad for 2 backup singers with a 9 octave range.

OfflineHi C,
Soon as I learn to use the Control Tracks. Everyday I load in a couple of new midi files, remove the overlapping notes and see how the Vocaloids follow the midi files.
So far, mostly I just use the auto vibrato and the Accent Singing Style.
Soon as I learn to use the control tracks to edit any singing notes I do not like on the defaults, I will be ready to start posting stuff.
Yeah, that Zero G sale is too good to pass up. Glad a downloaded Prima a few days ago, now that I have Real Time Prima working in both Cakewalk Sonar Home Studio and my new Florida Studio Producer.
In the interests of time, I may just start posting wordless music, just so people can hear the beautiful Vocaloid Harmonies.
I have mixed a few already just with the simple Vocaloid pan and volume mixer.
Between Cakewalk Sonar Home Studio and Florida Producer I have access to a couple of hundred plug ins. And a couple of dozen software synths. Plus the Vocaloids. Let The Music Flow.
Happy Vocaloid Singing
