Welcome to the forum!

My advice is to definately get on to and download the latest version of the vocaloid editor, as it fixes loads of bugs.

The empty sequence error could happen if there is midi tracks in the imported midi file that dont contain any notes.

The premeasure zone error happens if there is midi data before the start of the song. In options you can specify the premeasure duration, the default is 4 bars. Probably best to set it to its lowest value, which is 1 bar I think. If it still shows the same error then you will need to edit the midi file and insert at least one empty bar before any midi data, and then import into vocaloid.

It is annoying I know.

Try dpwnloading any of my files from the midi users section. Then load one of the files to vocaloid. the file will be called (name of song) VL, The vl is at the end of the song name. it should work in vocaloid as is. If it works, look at the file and maybe you can figure what’s different on your files.
