Me and my buddies are trying to make something with LEON , but got nothing to write home about yet, so I am not in a rush to show them.
Of all the examples that I heard here Internet angel, imho is the most expressive.
So I downloaded demo from the guy’s site but i didn’t understand how do I save the file in Vocaloid format with it.
Did any of you try ?
To tell you the truth, it’s a tad complicated for my simple self <img class=” /> but I hate to think that money we paid for Leon were spent in vain.

So my question is -how do I make a Leon file in onyx?

I dont think they have finished the Vocaloid PMstyle, still in the development stage.

If you go to the site [url:2v3t9i7f]http://www.jasminemusic.com/vocaloid/04-28-2004.htm[/url:2v3t9i7f] I think there is the vocaloid midi files that were used. Might be worth taking a look at them in the vocaloid editor … and see how they did it?

I could barely hear the vocal on that song. If it’s so expressive, why not pu,in programmt the vocal out front where it can be heard. If you’re selling vocal programming, better make sure the vocal can be heard. I will be intersted in this program when complete though.

Thanks, I’ll go there and take a closer look
probably I overlooked it the first time

I don’t understand which example you are talking about, in Internet Angel vocal is in the front and I think it’s done so on purpose
Moreover, on Jasmine Music there are files separate vocal tracks. I cant say I am completely satisfied with song vocal, but the words “Pensylvania” and “always” are sung perfectly
Using manual editing in Vocaloid we couldnt get that.

Do you mean Onyx or Vocaloid ?

Hello Raivo,
I’m sorry, that I cant take necessary part in forum’s discussions, but I am sure our time spending on Vocaloid enhancing will give more advantages to all vocaloid users. So, we try to present all necessary details about our experiments on our vocaloid related pages, however I’m ready to clear situation more.
•Modeler is MFX (plug-in) that contains algorithm to add expressive elements on the base of MIDI data analysis.
•These elements are presented (in Style Enhacer3.0/4.0, OnyxArranger 2.1, as well as SEMicro2.0 – Sonar MFX Plug-in) as Expression (ctrl#11), Modulation (ctrl#1), Pan (ctrl#10), PitchWheel curves and also Duration and StartTime notes changes.
•Modeler has about 500 Styles (PM Algorithms) developed for different instruments (voices).
•Vocaloid requires DIFFERENT controllers and DIFFERENT algorithms of PM.
•So, now we use [u:imfono1f]experimental[/u:imfono1f] version of Onyx Arrager 2.1 (not available for sale) where module for Vocaloid controllers converting and some other features were added.
•Now we use existing PMStyles with some important changes related to Voclaoid Synthesis specifics.
•When PMStyle for vocaloid managing is ready, it takes a second to add all curves into MIDI file. However, only PitchWheel, Expression will be heard adequately using usual synth. So in Onyx we process and adjust MIDI tune, and only in Vocaloid we can listen to the final result.
•Potentially we are ready to create YV Enhancer as a special tool for Vocaloid file producing.
•Also we could create MFX Plug-in for Sonar/Cubase, so that such data can be produced in these sequencers.
However, we don’t know Vocaloid market well enough to finalize our stand-alone software or plug-ins. In any case the most effective way would be inserting our PM Plug-in into Yamaha’s Vocaloid that depends on their decision.
I hope, I answered your question quite completely.

Alex
Thanx for your answer
We’ll look forwaerd when you make something to improve vocaloid
Hope the interface won’t be as complex as your Onyx interface
