Im having a problem with installing vocaloid. My install shield returns an error and stops whenever I install the voice or expressions. The editor and vst install fine on their own. I saw the other topic, and I disabled all network and internet hardware in control panel and ran it. No luck. I even tried installing in compatibility mode. no luck. This is annoying me as whem I first purchased it it installed fine, on two computers. Neither computer works now, because I uninstalled them. Now im trying to reinstall it it wont work. Is there a particular registry entry por something I must remove in order to install again, or is there a way to get it working? I liked the software while it ran and I wanna use it again!

Thanks

Kris

I solved the problem!

I reformatted my HDD, installed xp and keblam!!! Away it goes!

For all those with install problems please examine your HDD space, that wasnt the problem for me as i had 39GB free before I formatted, but still be sure. I had vocaloid working fine before, and the install problem appeared after i uninstalled it and tried to install it again. For all the people with this problem, I advise you reformat if you can and install it then. It obviously leaves some registry entry or file on the system when you uninstall so that you cannon install it again. I can only assume this is to prevent cracked users from reinstalling every 5 days.

Cheers
Kris

welcome to the forum!

Sounds like a strange problem, good that you are up and running again.

Thanks for the welcome. I hope people use my success as a way to begin their own steps to getting back on track. too many real customers are suffering at the hands of copy protection, and like said before by someone, the protection got cracked in a very short amountof time, the only sufferers were the real purchasers!
