I just got Leon and Lola today. I tried to register, but it keeps telling me that my serial number is invalid. I tried to update to 1.0.2 and Yamaha say my serial number is invalid (I tired both).

What do you enter for the serial number (format)?

Leon has the format xxxx/xxxx and lola has the format xxxx/xxxxx where x is a number.

I tried entering with and without the ‘/’ but it made no difference…. help!

Thanks in advance

Dave

Are you using the number printed inside the front cover of the manual?

That dang serial # is hard to find. Took me 10 minutes to find. I’m thinking they should write SERIAL # in front of it. I also tried a lot of different numbers I found all over the packaging when trying to register. Hard to find serial numbers is why I dont register half of my products.

Each box has a sticker on it, with the word Serial Number. Are you saying this is NOT the serial number??

The Lola book has a ‘stamped’ number inside the book (16 digits) but the Leon book has NOTHING – it is blank. So where would I find Leon’s number?

The serial number is the 16-character code printed on the inside front cover of the manual. When registering on the Zero-G site for tech support, it is entered as it is, in capitals, with no spaces or hyphens before, within, or after it. When entered during activation it is entered as four sets of four characters.

If the serial code is missing from the inside front cover of the LEON manual, this is a manuafcaturing error, so please send an email to info@zero-g.co.uk advising of this, and once you are confirmed as a legitimate purchaser you will be issued with a serial code. Apologies for the inconvenience.
