For those who haven’t thought of it. You can have a handy text tester by opening, (if you have enough memory) a second Vocaloid Editor. Then you can put in one word a time and make all your changes ’til you’re satisfied then go back to the original and make the changes permanent. Unfortunately, you can’t copy to the clipboard, but until Yamaha deigns to make a test window in the User Dictionary available it’s not a bad substitute.

Thats a good idea.

Another suggestion is to do the same thing using a temporary vocal track (in the same instance of the vocaloid editor), you can copy paste between the 2 tracks that way, and because vocaloid only recalculates the tracks that have changed, you still get the shorter rendering times. (You will have to mute the original track while you work on the temporary track though, so this method isnt always practical).

“makeshift text tester” wow thats hard to say!! try saying it 5 times really fast!

Great Idea. Now if I only had an extra 300 bucks to throw away on a second Leon. heh heh. I just split my midi into 8 or 9 parts and work a part at a time. Plus that way I have space for forgotten parts I run across too. I have to guess at the notes though since vocaloid has no piano with it. Why dont they make that keyboard on the left sound?? Would help immensely.

Our administrator’s suggestion is definately the way to go. You get copy and paste for just a couple of clicks!
